The Hofgarten - Hermann, MO

Jim and Mary Dierberg planned the “Hofgarten” as part of this historic town’s “cultural corridor” that also includes an outdoor music venue, microbrewery, “Festhalle” and future train terminal.

This prominent and underdeveloped corner at First Street and Gutenberg has been transformed from a vacant service station to a park and community courtyard, suitable for receptions, festivals, art fairs and civic gatherings. Significant features include masonry and timber-framed pavilions, an octagonal limestone fountain, ornamental gates, a sundial, and more than 13,000 square feet of brick and stone decorative paving.
